What's the easiest way to configure a dialup networking connection's dialing rules so that when dialing (on a laptop) from an area code other than your home area code, to an area code that is long distance relative to the area code you are calling from?

ok, im a little confused, but i think you're asking this:
you travel with your laptop (through different area codes) and you want your computer to know that when you aren't dialing from the usual (home) area code, to use different dialing properties?
i'm sure there's a way... let me know if i understood your question, and i'll post back.

Thx for the reply. Let me clarify the situation a bit. The user has his office in one area code in southern california but travels frequently on business. Recently he was in Sacramento on business and had trouble dialing out. I can create seperate dialing rules for each area code he frequents and specify, for example, that when he is in area code (510) and dials a long-distance number the dialer should dial a 1 and the area code before the phone number. This user is not particularly computer literate so I was looking for a shortcut that does not require much if any user intervention.
