    (y) this is a messy virus that quickly multiplies,it may well be that its lodged in your Restore files where nothing can remove it,there is a solution however,in that if you disable System Restore it will delete it,this is only if its lodged in the Restore files remember,if it doesnt say that or you are not sure its worth a try, another thing you could do is to click on this site http://www.pandasoftware.com/regist...9&Ref=WW-DES-PQR&Idioma=2&country=US&sec=down and download their free product,I have known that work in the past, over to you and good luck, do it fast this virus multiplies very rapidly .....One final thing to try click on this site and download an evaluation version of bit defender,I can guarantee this works, but it is slow,so try the others first http://www.bitdefender.com/bd/site/form.php good luck :)

I've downloladed and run the software you suggested, and I think I've cleared most of the occurances of the virus, but on checking, it's still in C:\_Restore\Temp in 8 files which I can't delete. Do you know a way I can delete them? I've tried the Dos prompt, but get access denied. Thanks.

Yes Kula the only way you can now delete these are by disabling system restore because they are lodged in the restore files and no anti virus can remove them from there... this will delete the files but also your restore points, however they will build up again immediately so there you go.....disable system restore, reboot and then enable system restore again, let me know how you get on when you have finished ....if you need info on how to disable System restore click on this site http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/pfdocs/2001012513122239?Open good luck and take care
