    Hello all
    I am helping a friend with a Dell 2.2ghz with 256 RAM
They have lost their restoration cd so we are installing with a new WIndows XP PRo cd.

We install and choose the boot from cd option
    I delete the partition
    New Setup option

During the setup I get this error
    Stop 0x0000008E (0xC00000005) 0xBF87BF80 0xF9C008D4 0x00000000

    Win32k.sys - address BF87BF80 base at BF800000 date 3b7de698

What does this mean??? I can reboot

After a reboot I was able to proceed with the install , applying the
    settings, setting admin password etc

After the final reboot I got this error message

memory address line failure 0408E008, READ F7F7F7F7, expecting F7F7F7F7F7

    What does this mean???

Do you have any solutions for the above??
