for some unknown reason ( i hate when other people use my computer)

my folders like when i'm opening a file in winamp, or my control panel are all in reverse alphabetical order now by default

i've tried putting them in the right order, and clicking on view, folder options, and setting all folders to look like that one

but it's not working.

if this is in the wrong forum, someone please move it for me. but it's not program related so i didn't know where to put it

here is an idea of what it's doing

Try this. Open Explorer and choose View Details. Click on the Name Heading to arrange the list alphabetically. Hold the CRTL button while closing the Folder using the X at the top right of the Window.

Just click on the Name column to toggle between forward and reverse alphabetical order.

thanks, i'll try that when i get home

as for Leem's response, i don't want to have to click on that button every time i open a folder, and it's not staying in the setting that i leave it in
