win98 not starting

    I have 2 operating systems win98 and winxp.When i start win98 i get a message"Vmm32.vxd file is required to run windows.If this file is not in your path you may need to reinstall windows.Is there any way to solve this problem without reinstalling windows.Please help.

    If you have an installation disk to boot up to doss, you might be able to extract the file from the cab files to your system files.
