I have the Win98 RESKIT installed on one computer and would like to install certain elements of it on another. Is there a way to selectively install JUST certain components (ie: Checklinks) or must I install the entire smpler?.
    OS: Win98 se.
    TIA

Nothing installs except the excellent manual. The other stuff is included in a control panel which allows you to install the individual items and gives a good explanation of what they do. I recommend installing the entire resource kit unless you are desperately short of HD space.

You can extract and install the individual items from your Windows CD.

...I guess I'll go for the whole enchilada!
RESKIT does have some pretty neat tools.

That manual is the full manual that MS was selling for $80 when Win98 was current. There is a wealth of information in it and it is easy to get at the way they have it set up. I made copies of my old Win98 CD for friends who had SE so they could download the kit. It is crappy that they removed it after Win98. They still sell the manuals of course.

There are better versions of TweakUI than the one in the reskit BTW.
