I'm sorry, but I can't understand what you're asking. How is SATA causing problems with IDE (or vice versa)?

Neither am I sure of what you are asking.

I am puzzled as to if you are asking can YOU copy to a SATA HDD the files from your mother`s IDE (PATA)HDD
OR if MOTHER means not your female parent but your MOTHERBOARD in the computer
You cannot copy programs - if SOFTWARE means that.
The documents and other personal data should have been backed up before installing 8

Is it, or was it intended to be a dual boot with 7
    OR what please

I appreciate English is not your first language but please try and explain again, the actual setup of the computer and what you mean by

i meant that my motherboard is not supporting ide hdd :(
and my all imp data doc + software + old window is stored in ide hdd
so im asking if i make backup of old window thats window 7 on ide and restore it on window 8 sata hdd, can i get all data + software on window 8?

there's an option in control panel called window 7 file recovery
its help file says "If you used Backup and Restore in a previous version of Windows to back up your personal files, you can still restore them from those backups. If you need to restore Windows, "

Is the drive shown in Disk Management
    Go Control Panel
    Administrative tools
Computer Management and then on left pane click disk management
When that loads - is the IDE driver shown there.

The control Panel item you mention
is actually the strangely named what was backup and restore in windows 7, although it is also a way of recovering windows 7 files etc.
However it does not recover from that drive - as you may have realised, it recovers from an image

the answer to your last is NO not in the way you think
I have already told you that you cannot simply backup and restore programs
It does not work like that
you can copy from the windows 7 drive your personal docs
