Window 7 starter - media player not working

    the file wmploc.dll. has a version number of 12.0.7601.17514 has 12 where was expected 12.0.7600.16667

    windows player is not installed properly and must be reinstalled

    do you want to reinstall the Player from the website? this is the prompt says..

    I believe i change something i dont know something like Thursday and Saturday I can't recall where did I browse it

    and I accidentally reset all the defaults from the auto media player devises I dnt know what is the settings.

    I am using a genuine Windows 7- starter Lenovo G460e.......

    can you guys help me with this what to do step by step procedure, I cant open my media player to play music and video.

    Do you have System Restore enabled? If so and if you have a recent Restore Point saved, you can revert back to a date where you didn't have the media player problem.
