Solved Windows 10 and Older Progams

    what options do you have in the export options
    I think Dave may have confused you with his delimited separated file remarks
    it is frequently listed as CSV or as text with tabs

    The reason this program probably doesn't work with W10 ( or W8) is that the storage area changed in W8 computers. In older OS like XP & W7 a program was allowed to store data in program files. In W8 that ability was vastly reduced and W10 completely stopped
    All data has to be stored in either program data or in somewhere like documents or a separate folder you create

    You might get the program working properly if you install it in W10, then go to the program settings and see if there is an option to change storage or data locations. The safest option is to select a folder within documents
    Then if that works. export or copy the existing data from the W7 computer & import or paste it into the new folder in documents you have created

    Yes, I used "delimited separated file" as generic term!

    What file types are shown when you go to "Export"?
