Hello-

I held off on the Windows 10 upgrade until the very last minute but finally did it. Now I'm not sure.

It's been important to me to be able to freely move desktop icons around my monitor and now they won't move.
(I do use Fences but I don't think that matters).

Is there any fix for this issue?

Thanks

You must be referring to Stardock Fences - which I've never used and am not familiar with.
I can freely move around the desktop shortcut icons in my Windows 10 computers, so I don't know why you can't.

You appear to have about 600 GB of personal data in your computer.
If it's important and irreplaceable to you, I hope you have a reliable backup copy of it.

Thanks. I uninstalled Stardock Fences and can move the shortcuts/icons at will. Apparently that program was keeping me from moving them before....
