Hello Guys

I have 2 Windows 10 Laptops one is an HP 15" and this one seems up to date with build 21H1, the other is an Acer 15" but this one is still on build 20H2 and i have had problems with this one could not install the previous update on it KB5005565 and I'm not getting any updates for the 21H1 feature update as on my HP, anyone know why these laptops are so different to eash other please.

Please do the following in each of those 2 laptops:
Download and save the tsginfo.exe file.
After it's been downloaded and saved, double-click it to run it.
Information about that laptop will appear.
Return here to your thread, then copy-and-paste the ENTIRE text here.

Those 2 laptops obviously have different hardware, so Windows 10 will update differently in each of them.
I have 4 full-time desktops, and they did not update from 20H2 to 21H1 at the same time.
By the way, 21H2 should be released next month.

My Acer now tells me I'm up to date and no updates available.

Have noticed that on my HP it does not show my Antivirus as Norton Security, Enabled and Updated same as on my Acer not sure why this is as i have no antivirus it says, don't use Windows Defender

You have THIS Acer Aspire A315-31-C94T Notebook PC which is running Windows 10 Home Version 20H2 Build 19042 64-bit.

If you have Norton Security installed in both laptops, you should get rid of it and stick with Windows 10's built-in antivirus app:
Windows Security aka Windows Defender
Windows 10 can have various issues when using a third-party antivirus app.
Windows updates failing to install is one of the primary issues.

Hello flavallee

Further to my problems with my Windows 10 Laptops i took your advice and uninstalled Norton 360 from my Acer Laptop and also did a fresh install of Windows 10 and the good news is i finally have updated to version 21H1, and I am now also running the Windows 10 internal security program which seems good so my Acer laptop is now running well.

With my HP Laptop this one is also running very well but I have not uninstalled Norton 360 on it I am seeing how it go's as my subscription runs out in January will decide then so thanks for your help.
