When streaming Xfinity TV on HP laptop the sound became very low. I tried to fix and now it's nothing but static. When trying to fix, I thought I could uninstall real Tek and then reinstall. I managed to uninstall real Tek speakers and now I can't reinstall. Help. I made a mess. I am not tech savvy.

What's the model name and complete model number of that HP laptop?
What's the exact serial number and part/product number on it?

You appear to have a HP 15-r011dx Notebook PC which was purchased on or about June 2014 and came with Windows 8.1 64-bit and has Realtek high definition audio.

The listed Windows 10 64-bit driver for that audio device at that laptop's support site is version 6.0.1.7564 and is dated July 2015.
A more current driver version 6.0.1.8036 which is dated January 2017 is listed HERE.
Installing and updating the Realtek audio driver is a 2-step process, so follow the directions carefully.

The "Troubleshooting - Sound & Microphone" section at that laptop's support site should be helpful to you.

Oops, one more thing. I upgraded to Windows 10. Does that change anything?

The drivers that I discussed are both for Windows 10.
That laptop's "Troubleshooting" section concerning sound issues also cover Windows 10.
