Cannot update because theres not enough space. Would you recommend upgrading hard drive or RAM or both?

I'm guessing this is a 64GB SSD or eMMC. You could try running Disk Cleanup and clearing off unneeded files from the drive, but there's no guarantee that will provide enough space. Moreover, since it appears you're using this drive for program files and personal data, it'll likely fill up again pretty soon and you'll be back to square one.

The first thing you should do is look at replacing that drive. After that, you can then look at avenues for upgrading RAM, but I would argue the drive replacement is more important at this juncture.

The hardware in your computer indicates it's about 10 years old.

Its motherboard appears to currently have 3 GB of DDR2 RAM.
It supports a maximum of 4 GB, so you do have the ability to add 1 GB.

It does have a decent graphic card, but it uses 117 watts of power.
Hopefully, your computer has a power supply with sufficient wattage.

It appears to have a 64 GB(59 GB actual capacity) storage drive.
It doesn't have sufficient space for Windows 10 and installed apps, so a larger capacity one is needed.

Personally, I wouldn't spend money to upgrade its hardware.
It would be better spent on a computer with faster and more modern hardware.
