My computer locked up during an installation upgrade and when i try to revert back to windows 2000 i changed the bios settings, then i have the following error: Resource Conflict-PCI mass Storage Controller
    Bus: 00, Device 10, Function: 00
After wards it says to press delete/Esc to continue and it says the operating system is not found.
What can i do to get rid of these errors.

what settings did you change. if you know, change them back. watever you do do not bring it to a pc place like geeksquad or firedog. they charge 100$ to have the pc sit for a few days and do nothing. try undoing the changes. maybe call up the pc manufactorer ex: dell, gateway, whatever. ask them over phone what the original bios settings were.
