When I installed windows 2000 I had the options of:
1) username and password every time you login or
2) assume same user will always login

I chose 2. Does anyone know how to set my account back to 1. I have two users on this machine: administrator and me. Thanks for your answers.

Hi

This is just something to try as I have never used Win2000, but on most of the other operating systems you can go to control panel, user accounts and set password on users.

This will prompt a login screen when you startup.

Hope that helps or gives some clue as what to look for. :)
