I have a server that has win2k server on it. I installed a couple programs that I need to remove. I tried uninstalling from the CP, but I get an error when I do, so it wont uninstall. I can't just reinstall them either, still get an error.

I am also having a few other problems with the box, and it's just acting kinda strange. I am thinking about running a repair on it with the win2k cd, but I wanted to ask a couple questions before I do that.

If I run a restore, will I lose ANY of my data? I'm guessing the answer in no.

After the restore, will I have to reconfigure everything so that it is a domain controller again?

Will I need to setup the users profiles and give everyone permission to every folder that they previously had access to, or will those settings and users stay in there during a repair?

Any additional things I need to watch out for so as to not cause myself a HUGE headache if I go forward with this repair? Thanks
