another question re W2K:
:
Is there any way to slow the scrolling speed? At times when marking a section of text to be deleted, the blue color indicating the text you WANT to delete will jump maybe another 1/2 to 3/4 of a page beyond what you want (ie: you get say, a page and a half or so marked instead of the 1/2 page you want to mark/delete), and to avoid deleting something I don't want & having to use undo then redo the page again, I have to delete a paragraph or so at a time.

I hold down my Shift key, then use the Arrow keys to highlight exactly what I wish to delete, or cut, or copy...
This works within documents, as well as on files and folders.

you could also reduce the zoom from page width (87%?) to 75% or 60% or whatever, so you can see all the txt you want to highlight without the scroll bar moving, or moving much
