Just set-up two windows 2003 server on two offices (A Office and B Office), both offices have been linked up by vpn all service/ports are opened on firewall.
server 2003-1 on A Office is the forest root domain cotroller , server 2003-2 on B Office is the additional server. the following message display when the replication occur on neither server 2003-1 nor server 2003-2 (Active Directory Sites and Services --> NTDS Setting):
"One or more of these Active Directory connections are between domain controllers in difference sites, Active Directory will attempt to replicate access these connection. For more information about how to verify please refer help and support."

does it an normal notification? in my past experience when replication within a site the message should be "Active Directory has replicated the connection"

i have checked the DNS both servers dns records replcated successully!!

    thanks for ur advice~~
