Windows 7 BSOD issue

    hello,
    I recently bought a new motherboard, ram and processor, for my 8months and 4 years old 500gb and 250gb hard drives respectively. . just installed Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit edition. but started getting really annoying bluescreen errors . .
    they appear seemingly at random intervals.
    In the last 7 crashes, the stop codes are mostly:

    0x0000008e (4 times) with bug check string: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

    0x10000050 (2 times) with bug check string: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

    0x000000fc (Once) with bug check string: ATTEMPTED_EXECUTE_OF_NOEXECUTE_MEMORY


    At first i thought it was faulty ram, but i ran memtest 86 v3.4 for 9 hours and 11 passes, but got 0 errors.

    what may be the issue?

    Please help!!!

    i have uploaded all the necessary pics and dmp files.
    the crash list.rar file has an html file that shows the detailed crash info generated by the BlueScreen View utility.

    You didn't specify your power supply, at all. Given the types of errors you are getting, I'd be starting there.

    What is make, model, and output rating of your power supply?

    I am completely unfamiliar with the brand. It shows no certifications from any ratings agencies anyplace on the globe, though the text description does claim it has properly protected outputs. In fact, it makes a point of that, which you don't see with most power supply advertisements and descriptions.

    Regardless, given your symptoms I would start with the power supply.

    You also should browse this site for a bit for other cases like yours; possibly there is a software reason for it.

    The BSOD saga continues on my PC,

    a. even after i installed windows 7 64bit on a different hard disk
    b. even after I removed windows 7 and reinstalled Windows XP 32 bit SP3

    but in windows xp the errors i got were:

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
    0x10000050

    THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER
    0x000000ea
    both caused caused by: nv4_disp.dll

    both times, it crashed while i was playing a game (Split Second)
    the second time was weirder . . the game did'nt crash, it turned dis-colored. . . the colors were all wrong, like it was a monitor problem or something . .
    then, i pressed reset, and just before Windows xp (loading screen) showed up, the bluescreen came up. .

    is this a hardware issue???

    Tread carefully!

    That guy is selling software...an automated "cleaner". Those are often a mistake.

    I won't comment on his NV4.dll fix because I don't know. But I do know he has an agenda.

    That said, I recently upgraded my Nvidia video driver and since then I've been having some issues of my own, which I am thinking might be due to the driver. I'm on Linux though, so I wouldn't expect my problems to look like your problems. However, my video problem seems to have something to do with my Windows 7 virtual machine which runs in my Linux environment, so perhaps there is some connection...I don't know. What I do know is that I can regain control of my system by logging in from another computer, killing the Windows 7 installation, then restarting my video system.

    If I were you, I would be taking a good hard look at your power supply. You might also try uninstalling that video driver and reverting to an older version.

    Is your system overheating? That could be the problem too.

    I'm not selling software, or promoting it. The site posted shares the info relating to some of his issues.
    Hoping it gives him a better direction, regarding what's going on with the system in general so he finds the answers he's looking for. The page has several options for various fixes on it.
