Are you able to boot into Safe Mode?

What's the STOP code on that BSOD?

Do you have your Windows 7 Installation CD?

Did you run any scans with a registry "cleaner" or any tool to "optimize" or "improve" your computer?

What's the make and model of the PC?

Are you able to boot into your Recovery Partition (if present)?

If you have a spare monitor lying around, connect it to your laptop and close the lid. If it starts up and runs without a problem, you've run into the Asus laptop's biggest problem--heat dissipation from the video card.
