hi everyone! I have been trying to do a dual boot on my windows 7 (32bit ultimate )Toshiba laptop-C55- i made a second partition 500Gb for installing a separate windows (64bit) as i need 64bit system for work.. after installing 64bit on the second partition, when I start installing the drivers in order, chipset utility should be the first, but I get a Framenet. NET error it says i have to install in first before chipset. This is not the first time I am doing a clean install (althalth it is the first time set up a dual boot. Can anyone help me? Thank you!

If you run Windows Update first (restart and run it until no more updates are needed, it can take quite a long time) it will install the Net framework stuff you need.

Although not in relation to a chipset driver the principle is the same
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000007263/graphics-drivers.html

Many programs - updates - are written to install using net framework

You can sometimes get round the situation by installing the chipset driver etc individually rather than using some download package
hi! rhank you for the reply! actually I tried other drivers that i manually downloaded individually from toshiba website and this error is showing up with any driver install proccess i start! just to check it i have installed a 32 on dhe second partition as well and there were no problems installing the drivers.when i installed 64 back again(after formattingfof course) the same provlem occured, with 2 different versions of 64bit windows i have :// trying to find a clue that might lead me to solution but i really have no idea what the problem is :( any idea?? thank you :)
