Windows 7 keeps freezing (but never yet in safe mode)

    Sometimes it freezes on desktop at startup, sometimes while playing low-spec games etc I cant figure this out, when it does freeze I have no choice but to hold the power button to shut it down because nothing works not even the mouse.

    How long have you been running your computer without a Antivirus program?

    Hello captainron276 and the answer to that is never, I bought this PC on December 10-2010 and didn't install any antivirus.

    Thanks, if I was to guess it's likely not any thing to do with malware issue but we'll see I'm definitely no expert.
