Hello. Yesterday I was on my laptop (Sony Vaio) and suddenly laptop jammed. I forced turned it off and turned on.
    And this message appears.

    LogonUI.exe - Bad Image

C:\\Windows\\system32\CRYPTUI.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it conatins an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

I have restarted this Vaio several times but the same error message keeps coming up.

I searched google for possible solutions but every where it says use windows 7 installation CD to repair it.
Problem is this laptop was my brother's. He was in France for 6 months earlier on work placement, had some hard disk problem with this Vaio, and got it fixed by some French computer tech company. They reinstalled everything for him and the Vaio worked great.
But that tech company never gave any activation key, or CD or anything with it. Neither did my brother ask for it. Now my brothers back in the UK, never to go back to France.

I do not have money at the moment to buy a new Windows or get it fixed by the local tech company. So I'm attempting to fix it myself.

And I have no idea how to fix this problem.

    Please Help me.

    Thanks you.
