I am currently testing Windows 7 on a seperate drive and I want to install win7 Virtual XP Mode. Now i have checked my processor and it is capable of virtualisation technology but I can't find a setting on my AM2 motherboard BIOS which I thought would be capable as it's not to old. I have tried emailing abit but have got no response thus far. Anyone know of another way to tell if my motherboard supports this VT mode.

All modern AMD processors support virtualization.
Strangely enough though, NOT all Intel processors support it.

So you should be good to go. I don't think there are any specific settings. Like SSE2 instructions for example, it just supports it or not.
