Hi,
Hopefully someone will be able to help me here. Yesterday, my computer started freezing up and taking a long time to do anything (ie 10 minutes to load up iTunes). I tried running a virus scan, which took forever because the scan rate was much lower than usual (5 mb/sec or something i could be wrong here, but the scan took 3 hours when it usually only takes 45 min to one hour).
So i tried restarting my pc and then i got the can't find operating system error. After a few resets, i started it up in safe mode. it would hang at classpnp.sys. SO THEN i re-imaged my pc. no luck. it wont boot and windows repair does nothing. bleh
does this sound like a hard-drive issue?
sorry for the wall of text.
Thanks in advance

i'm running windows 7 on Sony Vaio Cec laptop. also i pretty much can't do anything aside from the F8 boot menu. if i try a normal boot it hangs at the windows flag and if i try the repair option, it just sits there for hours doing nothing. okay chkdsk just ran and found no errors......
