DESKTOP FOLDER PROPERTIES: My DESKTOP folder = 90GB "SIZE ON DISK," however, the SIZE = 3GB.
What can be done to resize the DESKTOP folder down to 3GB SIZE ON DISK ??

Do you really have that much stuff on your desktop?

From what I read "size on disk" requires clusters for each file and can take up a lot more space than the actual files themselves, which is the "size".

Answer to your first sentence: yes.
BUT, does it really matter where these files/ folders are stored?

In other categories such as documents, dloads, pics, the size to size-on-disk ratio
is approx 1:1, and the magnitude is similar to desktop, ie 3GB - 10GB.
Only desktop ratio SOD:S is high, that is ~30:1.
Can anything be done to "clean this up?"
