I am running Spybot Search&Destroy on Windows 8, there is a feature to apply passive immunization to browsers and the rest of the system.. but when I try to do this I get this error: "The action may not be performed completely since you are not an administrator. If you want this performed for all users, please run this application elevated as an administrator." I AM an administrator according to everything I can see in Windows 8.. this is very frustrating, I found a link called "GrantAdminFullControl.reg", and before I do this is there a better way? Will that even work? Can I make my account (the only account on my computer) have SYSTEM rights?

When I clicked Immunization, and then Immunize Everything, it showed a User Account Control dialog box. If you OK this, it will give you elevated privileges to perform immunization.

Okay I had to right click the shortcut on the desktop and choose "run as administrator". Duh.
