I'm running Win98SE and I'm getting a blue screen error message. Here's the message

    Disk Write Error
Unable to write to disk in drive C
Data or files may be lost
    Press any key to continue

I pressed any key several times to restore my desktop after awhile it eventually shows the error message again. I've tried go back in Norton's systemsworks, but that did not stop it.
My data wasn't showing up, but I rebooted and it was back. If there's anyone that can help me it would be appreciated.

Your HDD is in bad shape and near sudden death.

If you have important data and documents do back them up at once.

After that you will be needing a new replacement HDD.
