Whenever I boot up my computer it is always asking me for a password now. It never did this before, however, a few days ago it started doing this. Any ideas on why it started doing this and how to rectify it . Thanks in advance.

    Start> Settings> Control Panel> Double-click on the Network icon

From the Configuration tab, click the down arrow under "Primary Network Logon," and select Windows Logon. Click OK, but DON'T reboot when asked to.
In the Control Panel, double-click on the Passwords icon. From the Change Passwords tab, click the Change Windows Password button. Type your old password, but leave the New and Confirm password fields blank.

Restart the computer and when prompted for the domain log-on password, put a check in the "Save this password in your password" list checkbox. The next time you reboot, Windows will not ask you for your password.

Shouldn't we find out what password prompt they are getting first? Just a thought!

If it's a window's password, put in a different username that you haven't used before and leave the password blank and click ok, you won't see it again.
