Having problems with Windows 98 SE hanging on start up, after Windows 98 main screen. Goes to a black screen with an hourglass and freezes. Not sure where the error is occurring. If I do step by step configuration, I get message that some files are corrupted, which I think is from the CD-RW. Cannot reload cause it wants 256 colors but when I try to change the monitor setting to 256 color, asks me to restart and then freezes after "Windows Restarting" message.

Thanks for your help.
