If by 'codes' you mean the product key, it should be printed on a label on the 98se upgrade installation disk and/or on a separate certificate.

i was given the disc with out product codes if you have any that works gud you please send them thanks

I'm not casting aspersions, but if the disk was acquired legally then the 'codes' should be with it; if it's an illegal copy then nobody on this site will be able to help you.

Agreed. If the original CD was given to you, then you should have also been given the Product Key. If you do not have that then you cannot install Windows 98
