Hi all, I tried to unzip a program and has blocked 2 files, simply saying - Blocked File Notification, windows has blocked the file (file name, its a .exe file and Samsung_winIMI) from being extracted, would you like to continue trying to extract files, skip all further blocked file notifications, or cancel the extract operation. Could someone help me out here or my computer will be leaving via the nearest window, and its a long way down! :) Cheers.

I was able to get around this by unzipping the file from another computer (not running vista) onto the one with vista over the network. Also if you can get the files to a jump drive that should work also... not sure why we cant find any info on this at all on the web. Good Luck!

Well I got around it although I still don't know why it happened but... I unzipped the exact same file using WinRAR and no problems.

This problem is caused by Windows Mail, to resolve:

windows mail -> options -> protection

and deactivate the option "non consentire salvataggio o apertura di allegati..."

in eng. sounds like "don't allow saving or opening of attached..."

after this winzip can copy your extracted file to the desidered position.

this because wzip use the standard OS window to copy file.

when the system is called to do so the file is locked.

    hallo!
