    Hello,

I have a Windows XP Pro system that I'm having problems with.

At startup I am getting an error:

"Windows cannot find 'c:\WINDOWS\sv3965\svchost.exe' make sure you tyuped the name correctly, and then try agian. To search for a file, click Start Button, and then click search.

When I click "OK" I get another error:

"Could not load or run 'c:\WINDOWS\sv3965\svchost.exe' specified in registry. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the registry.

I can't seem to fix this problem, so any help would be awesome!!

    Thanks.

Hi and welcome......Please do not follow those instructions. I have removed the earlier post.

You need to wait for a qualified security person to assist.

Spykiller, only qualified people can advise on Hijack This logs. Please report them if seen in other areas than in the area where you CAN'T post to them ;) Thanks.

Also, I have moved this thread to the correct forum where unqualified helpers cannot post :)
