Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 computer with windows xp . I have several error messages pop up one after the other when I start up my computer. Several have little square boxes. They say things like Windows cannot find ' squares' make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search. What should I do?? one says Could not load or run ' several squares' specified in the registry. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the registry. I am not advanced need help. Thank you.

It could be malware or an old program that's only been partially removed.

Please download DDS by sUBs to your desktop from the following location:

    http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.scr

Double-click the dds.scr file to run the program.

It will automatically run in silent mode and then you will see the following note:

"Two logs shall be created n your Desktop".

The logs will be named dds.txt and attach.txt.

Wait until the logs appear and then copy and paste their contents in your post.
