Windows couldn't automatically bind the ip protocol stack to

    This a response to an old post at https://forums.techguy.org/threads/...ically-bind-the-ip-protocol-stack-to.1210307/
    Turned out the final answer was the computer was suffering from what I call "Windows Rot" The installation was 7 years old and may have been an upgrade from XP. I bought a new hard drive and installed windows 7 from scratch and transferred the data from the old drive. Every thing working fine now. Now I have to look at my options to move to windows 10 next year.
