This post is for information only

If you have Windows Defender (Beta) installed or intend installing it then you should first check with your AntiVirus and Firewall vendor(s) that their products will reside without conflict with Windows Defender (Beta).

There is some evidence that compatibility issues between Windows Defender (Beta) and certain AV and Firewall products might result in corruption of key system files which could potentially result in BSOD and an unbootable system.

If you have WD (Beta) installed and have recently been experienclng BSOD then uninstall WD (Beta) and check the Registry to ensure that all entries have been removed.
