I keep getting this pop up and tried to do the backup but it stalls at 95%. I got all my pics and what I think is important transferred to my backup hard drive but the error keeps coming back.

Should I just replace the HD or is there something else I can try first before doing that. I have only had the laptop less the a year and a half.

have you done what the dialog box suggested, and hit the manufacturer's site for some diagnostic tests? That would be step 1.

That said, I'd replace it. I've not seen that error magically go away.

Thanks -- I did the error checking for both C and D and no errors come back.
I don't see any other diagnostics on Lenovo's site -- and frankly am not 100% sure what I am looking for...lol

I was just wondering if there is anything else I should try before I call this one toast!
