can someone please help me i keep getting a error saying windows error service -windows detected spyware on your computer Download free spyware scanner & remover ... it gives me the option to click ok or cancel if i click cancel it stays gone for about 10 seconds and if i click on ok it takes me to a website >>> http://spyware-remover.zapto.org/ i just now finished reinstalling windows xp pro and as soon as i went to IE to play games this message keep coming up. i have reformatted tonight to rid this problem but like i said as soon as i was finished and went back to IE to play pool this annoying message keeps popping up . I have ran adaware -and a few other spyware programs but nothing seems to help. If anyone knows what may be causing this i would appreciate any comments. THANK YOU

This may be a popup from the messenger service (network messenger, not instant messenger).

Go to Control Panel, Admin Tools, Services. Scroll down to Messenger Service, double-click and disable it. Apply. Stop the service if it is running.

Then you probably need a popup stopper. Can you post an image of the window?

    Download Hijackthis.
Create a folder on your hard drive and save it there.
Unzip the file and extract it to the folder you have created.
Scan your machine, then click on Save Log.

Post a copy back here and someone will be happy to review it.

Don't make any changes until instructed to do so.
