"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I haven't gotten this error for a long time, and suddenly today everytime I open up My Documents or My Computer I am getting this annoying Explorer error and it is forcing me to shut down the windows. Fine if this was happening once or twice then I wouldn't mind, but it is happening every time I open a file and do something with it (like copying a file into it... or even opening a file itself!)

Is this a problem with my RAM? If it is, how do I fix it and how do I find out which stick of RAM is causing my problems? If it isn't RAM, what's going on with my computer?

I have 1 gig in memory (512x2) a 200gb hard drive (one 120gb and one 80gb) Intel Celeron 2.66 Ghz... if that helps at all...

    Please help me!!

It also could be a 3rd party shell extensions that are not functioning properly. Try to disable all additional context menu objects.
