This is an annoying problem. Whenever I open a folder in windows explorer it displays the files as "large Icons" and I want details. So I have to go to View and change it. But the next time it will again open in "large Icons" is there a way to change the default from "large Icons" to details ?

When you say view to change it are you talking about view under the tab ( Organize/ Folder and Search Options ) in the upper left corner ?

I am talking about the middle line that says
    "File Edit View Tools Help"
when you click on this "View" the default is "large Icons"

I posted it in my last posting to show you that I enabled it in the second Image you can enable or disable this view if you want . Now have you been able to get what you were wanting on viewing folders in either large Icons, detailed view, etc. ?
