Same problem I have seen alot of people having. Intermittenly I get the "windows explorer not responding" this will happen about every 5 minutes for weeks then all of a sudden stop for several weeks. One weird side issue is I have two accounts on my computer, my wifes and mine. At times it will only be occurring on one account or the other. I am back into the phase of it occuring. I checked the "record problem steps" with windows and find this common error each time it occurs.

    WERFAULT.EXE /H /SHARED GLOBAL\93FC6B4FEA924424A5FABE713C4AF692

These are the error codes from three occurances.

    Anyone have any thoughts??:(

You have no desktop or Taskbar? No desktop icons? If you do, then Windows Explorer is running.
