I have folders that contain music files that I've burned to CDs - one folder per CD. I want to arrange the files in a specific order, not any default or sorted in any way.

Can this be done?

My OS is XP Home.

Thanks.

Sure there is:

Open your my documents folder ( or the folder you want to arrange where the music is stored) and rightmouse click inside the window (not on a icon)
You should see a submenu:
view
arrange icons by
refresh
new

mouse over the arrange icons by and you will see a new submenu:
name
size
type
modified
________
show in groups
autoarrange
align to grid

Unheck the autoarange and you can now move your icons anywhere you like, they wont arrange by alphabet anymore.
