Recently I wanted to completely wipe my pc and start fresh. I did the reset and recovery options built into windows 10 and after the install the pc will freeze after around a minute or so. Will also randomly get the blue screen saying it encountered an error. I’ve tried reinstalling windows 10 through the same method but it still freezes

Go download the MS Media Creation Tool for Win 10. Then run it to generate a Windows setup USB memory stick ( the USB memory stick will be erase and replaced with Windows setup files) . Boot that on the problem machine and proceed to delete all partitions and let it install Windows on the free space.

Sorry for late reply. After several attempts at using MS Media Creation Tool (would keep freezing during download/install) I finally got it to work. So strange. My windows was stuck on build 10344 I believe and would not update past that. Last time I ever do that. Thank you!
