My desktop (Windows XP, P4, 512 mb) has become non-responsive at startup. Once my desktop image and icons come up the cursor is moveable, but there is no response when I click on icons or the start button. Also, keyboard inputs (cntl+alt+delete, the windows key) do not work either.

Please let me know how to fix this problem.
