Hello, ram3ez. Welcome. I do see signs of malware infection. I will need a little time to go through the log, work out a fix, and run it by another expert. Then I will post a handling. Thanks for you patience.

If you have any questions about the handling along the way feel free to stop and ask.

The first thing you should do is move HijackThis into it's own permanent folder. Desktop is not the best place.

    • 1. Open up My Computer.
      2. Click on C: drive
      3. Click "File > New > Folder"
      4. Name the folder HJT or something that you can identify the program with.
      5. Move HijackThis.exe from the Desktop into the new folder.
      6. Just run it from there from now on.

Next, download smitRem.exe and save the file to your desktop.
Double click on the file to extract it to it's own folder on the desktop.

Place a shortcut to Panda ActiveScan on your desktop.

If you have not already installed Ad-Aware SE 1.06, follow these download and setup instructions, otherwise, check for updates:
    Ad-Aware SE Setup
    Don't run it yet!

Now close your browser and please do not go to any other sites until we get some protection on your pc. Instructions on that will follow.

Next, open HijackThis again, have it scan, and place a checkmark next to each of the following items:

Then make sure ALL windows are closed except HijackThis and hit the "Fix checked" button.

Now, click on the "Config..." button in HijackThis and then on "Misc Tools". Then click "Open Uninstall Manager". Click "Save list...". Save it to the desktop.

    Go to: Start > Run
    Type: %temp%
Your profile Temp folder will open
Edit menu > select all > delete

    Empty the Recycle Bin.

You will want to print out the following instructions or copy them to Notepad as you will not have internet access from Safe Mode:

Next, please reboot your computer in SafeMode.
For instructions on how to boot into Safe Mode, click here.

Open the smitRem folder, then double click the RunThis.bat file to start the tool. Follow the prompts on screen.
Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.

The tool will create a log named smitfiles.txt in the root of your drive, eg; Local Disk C: or partition where your operating system is installed. Please post that log along with all others requested in your next reply.

Open Ad-aware and do a full scan. Remove all it finds.

Reboot back into Windows and click the Panda ActiveScan shortcut, then do a full system scan. Make sure the autoclean box is checked!
Save the scan log and post it along with a new HijackThis Log, the uninstall list that you made, and the contents of the smitfiles.txtlog .
