Hi, I have been doing video calls with no problems until today. Instead of a picture of the person I'm talking to I have a picture of a webcam with a red cross through it. They can see me and hear me and I can hear them. My OS is XP Professional, Service Pack 3, 32 bit. Is this a problem from their side or mine? Thanks for your help.

i'm having the same issue, but from the other side of the coin. I'm calling someone and I can see and hear them fine, but they can't see me. I'm running win 7. I suspect it has something to do with the latest update for live messenger.

Come on Microsoft knock this crap off. My family and I will be moving to a different im provider, maybe google if they don't get their act together.

If anyone knows of a solution, i'd also be interested.
