I have a Portuguese (I think) version of Windows Live Msgr that I can't get rid of. It won't let me log in with my regular Messenger ID (I guess I'm not using the right accent marks), and I can't remove it. When I minimize it, it collapses into a tiny rectangle right above the Start button. But when I try to click the "X" to exit the application, nothing happens. I have done a search for "Uninstall" and Messenger" and tried to manually remove this little bugger, but no luck. Also, whenever I Alt + tab between applications, the Messenger icon is there even when the window isn't open. Anyone have any guidance? Thanks in advance.
