I recently tried out the Windows "magnifier" while on Internet Explorer. I have XP. I then closed out the application but since then whenever I open IE the page does not run down to the bottom of the screen (it's missing a couple of inches) the same size as the magnifier when open. I have tried everything but can't get IE to open in the normal full size page it uses. Could use some advice on this.

Try this. Hover over the edge of the page until you see a double arrow then drag to size.
Then click file on the toolbar and close from there. Windows should then remember the size.

I already tried that and it doesn't seem to work. Any other ideas?

Well try this.

Try opening IE and clicking on a link. When the new window opens close the
original window. Put your cursor at the right bottom of the window and
stretch it to the size you want. It should open the same size next time
.
