Hi Guys

Anyone else getting the same microsoft update on windows vista and XP.

Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - July 2013 (KB890830)

Installation date: ‎10/‎07/‎2013 17:46

Installation status: Successful

Update type: Important

I have already installed this first time round do i have to do again.

The MSRT is added to the list of updates that Microsoft releases every month.

You can select not to show it again or to hide it when it appears in the list.

Hi

Thanks for your reply i understand what you say, but for this month July only the MSRT seems
to have been duplicated and already i have downloaded it twice as an update from Microsoft on
my windows Xp desktop.

Now i have it as another update for July on my windows vista laptop cannot understand why it
has been duplicated this month.

The MSRT update will occasionally reappear after I choose to hide it or not show it again. If it does, I choose the same option.

Don't stress about or lose any sleep over it.

It happened to me with Windows 7 and I just installed it again and have had no problems since.
