    Hey all!

I have a dual boot XP/ME system. My ME side worked great, until I tried to update it. When I was installing the IE 6 browser pack it froze half way through. I rebooted and then had to go in safe mode to remove it.

Now when I try to boot up in ME it gets to the blue screen, then my PC speaker makes an aweful noise - kind of like a short jolt of static. Then the computer freezes. If I do a three finger salute I get that Msgsrv32 is not responding. I click END TASK and it does so, but the computer will still not load windows.

    Any ideas?

    Regards,

    Darren.
